Something that sets it apart from Burton's iconic Nightmare Before Christmas is the coloring. Corpse Bride utilizes a bit more fluorescent colors compared to the darker color scale from his previous animated movie. A negative about this movie is it's attempt to be a musical. The songs were not too memorable and it's hard to beat the quality from Nightmare Before Christmas . But the highlight of the film for me hands down is the musical score. That, I would say, is the one thing better than it's predecessor. Victor's piano song, which plays as the main theme throughout the movie, is one of my favorite pieces of music of all

The only thing I really remember from it was the airplane crash premise & the pop culture icon, Jorge Garcia. I have since watched  Once Upon a Time  &  Bates Motel  - two shows that I very much obsessed over within the last couple years. I know very well that those same writers, producers, & the creators were top people in making Lost & I recognized their names every time when Lost rolled their opening credits. Given their reputation, I had to move Lost up my watch list. I would've watched it eventually, but I had to jump in sooner given how much I enjoyed their other shows. I knew this was a show about a bunch of people stranded on an Island, but no one said anything about this supernatural creature hiding in the jungle whispering words in people

With all movies covered on my blog, I thought I'd give a deep dive into the Wizarding World and share my passion on the franchise that means the most to me. The Books “Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.” I have read the books 3 times in full and have spent months considering a 4th read through now that Hogwarts Legacy has helped me memorize the Hogwarts map lol. While the movies do a decent job telling the bigger picture, the books hold all the little moments that immersed us more than the movies ever could. I really don't know how to articulate how magical reading the series is, especially if it's your first time. Nights in the common room, visits to Hagrid's, summers at the Burrow, the Quidditch World Cup, the entire Crouch family history, Voldemort's full history, Peeves, and so much more is in store if read the books.
