The first half ish hour is just nostalgic more than anything else in all of existence. The music helps, but Hobbiton is just pure and cozy and honestly home to anyone and everyone who is into fantasy. You can’t say you are a fan of the fantasy genre if the Shire doesn’t make you shed even a single tear. The pacing of these movies is just perfect. There is super fun, action packed, well-choreographed fights. There are moments of tension. There are moments of grief. With the fellowship, there are heartwarming deep moments of friendship.
