"A troubled child summons the courage to help a friendly alien escape Earth and return to his home world." - IMDB There are plenty of sci fi films out there about deadly alien invasions, but there aren't too many stories about a friendly alien friend coming to town. This is how the plot of ET was able to stand out amongst other alien movies. ET is definitely one of the top wholesome, go-to feel-good movies in all of cinematic history. Everyone should see this film at least once. ET just has the whole package.  This Spielberg film, with score by John Williams, follows a trio of children as they befriend this little alien left behind from his family. There's a story of love & friendship as a special bond develops between Elliott and ET as they become psychically linked. There's suspense as the government scientists hunt down ET in the shadows. There's drama as generations of children have been emotionally scarred by ET's "death" for over 40 ye

"In this interactive story, the fate of the crew of a spaceship is in your hands. Who will you save, more precisely, who can you save from the dangers of the endless universe?" - IMDB I've watched Markiplier for... dang, 7 years now. I love watching his let's plays. When Mark first came out with A Date with Markiplier , I was intrigued. This kind of interactive story telling wasn't new to me as I've seen other YouTubers, like Dan &

"A 13-year-old girl named Meilin turns into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited." - IMDB Well I finally got around to watching Turning Red. It's taken so long for me but I was always excited for this film. I was even more interested after hearing the backlash the film received. I love it when people make a dramatic controversy over a Disney film.  Anyways, after spending so long reading others' opinions, I've officially formed my own. And I gotta start off by discussing one clear fact right here and now. This film was made for a very specific audience - and I don't mean children or adults or anything in between. If you spent any significant amount of time of your childhood and/or pre-teen years between 2000-20009, like myself, this is a movie made for you. Between the character that wore butterfly clips & ugg boots and the Tamagotchi that Mei carried around, there were so many little easter eggs to the 2000s culture and I felt very exposed wat
